Ixchel Odier

Welcome!

My name is Ixchel Odier, and I am a student at Georgia State University studying pre-law. I also work part-time as a member service advocate at Businessolver Inc. After graduating, I will attend law school at Florida State University in Tallahassee to become a medical malpractice lawyer with an interest in public health. I am actively looking into becoming a legal assistant for a law firm specializing in personal injuries as a means of further enhancing my legal skills as I study.

My decision to become a medical malpractice lawyer was heavily influenced by several members of my family (myself included) being harmed by ignorant and greedy medical professionals. With the ongoing rise of malpractice incidents across the country having a major effect on my mental health, my ultimate career goal is to use research on such incidents to put the lucrative medical and pharmaceutical industries out of business to prevent further incidents from harming or potentially killing people.

Some of my major skills and strengths include the ability to read, write, and speak Spanish fluently, the ability to navigate through computers, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in a team efficiently. In my spare time, I enjoy playing video games, reading, writing, and spending times outdoors.
